Special notes to loved ones back home!

clip_image112clip_image116clip_image118clip_image120clip_image122

At noon today, our ships position was 29° 39.9′N, 125° 58.4′W at 11.4 KTS.  The Golden Bear is approximately 480 miles WSW of San Diego and we’re expected to arrive the morning of August 24th…2 more days to go!

It’s toward the end of cruise and students are scrambling to make up for loss time. But for those who are ahead of the game, they’re preparing for the big Sinbad competition that will take place tomorrow morning.  It’ll be a day of various activities on the ship, to test their knowledge and skill of life at sea!  It’s not required for all to participate, but who’d want to miss out on all the fun!

Enjoy!

clip_image002

It was pay day on the ship….Thank you Captain Bolton! J
