3:52 pm  PDT- The satellite connection to the TSGB is currently down. As a result, those on the ship cannot send or receive emails or phone calls at this time. The IT department aboard the ship is working to resolve this issue. As soon as connectivity is restored, updates to FTV will resume and a status update will be posted. Yesterday the Presidents of both the Texas Maritime Academy and the California Maritime Academy had a late afternoon meeting with their senior directors and health services personnel. NOTE:  While Catalina Island is listed as a port on Cruise I and II, it is not a traditional port of call.  Those days will only contain underway training; there will be no liberty or visitors at Catalina Island.   Also, please note that the 1st Cruise Itinerary was updated 4/7/09 to reflect a one-day change in Puerto Vallarta Arrival and Departure Dates.
